C. Something to consider this week:
“Homeostasis refers to the body's need to reach and maintain a certain state of equilibrium.
There are many things that can disrupt our homeostasis each day.
Some things, such as a lack of sleep, eating junk food or consuming too much alcohol, disrupt our homeostasis to such an extent that it takes a considerable amount of time to return to a state of equilibrium.
When this happens, we are potentially subtracting joy from the future (for example, suffering a hangover).
What can you do today to reduce the margin of error in order to reach a state of homeostasis on a more regular basis and live joyfully on a moment by moment basis?”
